Oklahoma Contemporary Art Center’s studios are available for rent and provide a casual setting for rehearsals, performances, lectures, special events, auditions, meetings, and conferences.

Studio space is offered Monday through Thursday, 9am – 10pm, and Friday and Saturday, 9am – 5pm (when not in use by classes or tenants).  To inquire about renting space at Oklahoma Contemporary Arts Center and about pricing, please email Laura Rice or call 405-951-0000.  Please include your contact information, requested dates and times, the studio you would like to rent, and any special requirements.  We will respond to all inquiries within 48 hours.

Eleanor Kirkpatrick Gallery

This space, used for weddings, receptions and parties of up to 400 people, is the main gallery at Oklahoma Contemporary Arts Center.  It is primarily used as a space for artworks from new, emerging, and mid-career artists using a wide range of mediums. Depending on the installation, we can offer the space to rent for your next event.  It is the most customizable space we offer with 11 moveable walls and can be broken into multiple spaces for an intimate gathering or event.  With over 3,600 square feet, it is perfect for your special occasion!  Transform the Eleanor Kirkpatrick Gallery for your event as others have in the photographs above.

The kitchen is newly remodeled and includes 2 ovens, an oversized refrigerator, icemaker, and dishwasher. Its large amount of countertop space is perfect for your catering needs.

Theater

This hall seats up to 200, has a drop down screen for film nights with a Blu-Ray/DVD player, a sound and lighting system, and an expanded stage to accommodate small to medium sized performances. This space is used for weddings, trainings, rehearsals, and performances of both dance and theater arts.

Art Studios

Studio 1
This art studio features changeable lighting and a moving sketch mirror for classes and workshops and can be retrofitted to make it into a space for birthday parties for the little ones.  Its 600 square feet is great for small gatherings up to 25.
Studio 2
This art studio features all the space you would need to throw your next messy party.  With concrete floors, high ceilings and a paint sink, it’s the perfect space to let the paint fly.  It has 1,152 square feet and can easily handle 40.

Children’s Gallery

This multi-functional space can be made into a gallery, a lunch room or a meeting room.  It has 80 linear feet of hanging space and is best utilized in tandem with Studios 1 & 2.  This room has 825 square feet and can fit 30-40 people.

Bridge Gallery

This multi-use space is great for lectures, meetings, and gatherings.  It periodically features local new and emerging artists’ art hung on the wall, and has a 130’ Walker hanging system around the perimeter.  With its high ceilings and open layout, it’s easy to make this space inviting and welcoming for any medium-sized occasion.  It has 1,127 square feet and can accommodate up to 75.  The Walker system can be used in conjunction for your event with prior notice to and permission from Oklahoma Contemporary Arts Center.

Circle Gallery

The Circle Gallery is a 962 square foot progressive art space used to present new installation art that explores the divergent disciplines of contemporary art to the Oklahoma City metro community.  It features 98 linear feet available for hanging, and it can also be used for rentals when the space isn’t occupied.  As a former planetarium, it’s one of the more unique spaces in Oklahoma City to have your reception or meeting.

Dance Studios

Oklahoma Contemporary Arts Center offers two dance studios which have full length mirrors, permanent ballet bars, and 12’ high grid ceilings.  As a special artistic touch, the westward facing windows feature flowing metal mosaics.  Both have sprung wood floors and the Large Dance is ADA compliant.
