Sculpting Animals

Summer Two | July 22 – September 9 | Mondays | 7 – 9 pm
Seven Classes | $105

INSTRUCTOR: GLEN THOMAS

Students will select an animal to sculpt. The challenge is to design a piece that can be accommodated by the strength limitations of water-based clay. For example, a reclining horse or dog can be easily sculpted while the standing version would be very difficult if not impossible. Bring a number of photographic references for this project.

Glen Thomas has a bachelor’s degree in art and has completed graduate work at the University of Central Oklahoma and Oklahoma City University. His work has recently been displayed at Oklahoma Contemporary Arts Center and 50 Penn Place.

Ability Level:  All Levels

Supplies and clay not included.
