Beginning Oil Painting

This class will focus on the fundamental aspects of oil painting such as color mixing, blending, composition and various techniques. Students will create paintings, gain familiarity with oil colors and learn basic painting concepts.
Chris is a realist painter whose work appears in both public and private collections statewide. He holds a BFA in Painting from Oklahoma City University and has taught painting and drawing at OSU-OKC and the University of Central Oklahoma.

Beginning Acrylics

Beginning acrylic painting will give a thorough introduction to working with acrylic paint. We will study different techniques by practicing and viewing work of contemporary artists. Students will gain a fundamental base of knowledge and embark on their own projects as well. This class is designed for those who are new to acrylic painting or those who have been away from the canvas and are looking to refresh their skills.
Jennifer is an active artist who frequently shows her work locally. She holds a BFA in painting from the University of Oklahoma and by day coordinates arts education projects at the Arts Council of Oklahoma City.

Intermediate - Advanced Acrylics

Instructor: Bert Seabourn
Paint alongside renowned artist Bert Seabourn as he creates masterpieces. You will be exposed to a wide variety of approaches and techniques such as drawing, design, color and line. All students receive individual attention.
Bert is an American Expressionist painter and has exhibited his work throughout the United States and around the world. He has previously taught watercolor, acrylic and paint making workshops.
