Spring Break Camp

Art Around the World (Ages 5 - 7)
Instructor: Debbie Langston     $150

Campers will take a trip around the globe and create art inspired by a variety of cultures. Native American, African and Mexican art are only a few examples of what will be covered. Two and three dimensional work will be created during the week in this exciting camp.

Debbie is an art teacher with the Edmond Public Schools. She holds a bachelor’s degree in fine arts from Southern Methodist University.

Face in the Mirror (Ages 5 - 7)
Instructor: Elizabeth Dean    $150

Who is that person looking back at me? In this camp we will explore the many ways to make a self portrait using a variety of materials and techniques. While exploring their own image campers will find ways to express themselves in new, fun ways!

Elizabeth is an artist and has taught advanced placement art classes at Deer Creek High School for the past six years. She has also taught camps at City Arts Center for the past seven years.

See the Surreal (Ages 8 - 10)     FULL
Instructor: JP Morrison    $150

The strange and unusual is beautiful and fun! Campers will explore their imaginations and dreams to create works of art. We will look at the work of Joseph Cornell, Salvador Dali and Frida Kahlo to name just a few and use there ideas as a starting point for our own surrealist creations.

JP is an artist whose work has been exhibited throughout the United States. She received a bachelor’s of fine arts in painting and creative writing from the Kansas City Arts Institute.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Before & After Care is available for parents for $5 per day, per child.  It starts at 8am and ends at 6pm Monday through Thursday.  Before care is available on Friday.

Pizza Day is offered on Friday for an additional $5.  It includes pizza, drinks, and two snacks.

Camp Store Cards are available for purchase in $5 increments.  Items at the camp store are priced from $ .25 to $ .75.
